Floyd County History Collection
The Floyd County History Collection is a project of the Floyd County Public Library to collect and digitize photographs, oral histories, moving images, sounds, and documents that pertain to the history of Floyd County, Kentucky. The focus of the collection is in the following areas: historical buildings and homes; area churches; schools; oral and written family and personal stories. The Floyd County Public Library has partnered with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Martin Ward Family History Center to digitize marriage and census records to aid in genealogy efforts.

Libby – Kentucky Libraries Unbound
Libby is a library-purchased subscription to eZines, eBook, audiobook, music, and video content. The Floyd County Public Library has access to this shared collection. Using your library card, you can browse for titles to download to your computer or a variety of portable devices including MP3 players, iPods, iPads, Nooks, Kindles, and smartphones.
